This pier renovation seems to be taking its time, but coming along nicely. More of those bazaar canopy things are in place now and decking is being finished up toward the eastern end.
This new structure has also gone up relatively recently toward the edge of the pier.

This will be an awesome site when completed with its view of downtown Manhattan. It should be a good spot for concerts and events.
